Cats

It’s amazing how fast they grow

Written by Louise

Oli seems to have been doing a lot of growing lately. I weighed him this morning, and he now weighs 1.3 kg, which is quite a change from the tiny little scrap of a thing who I thought might not survive.

After keeping him mostly separate from the other cats for his first few weeks here, I’ve been gradually letting him out to mix with them more and more, and he’s now with them most of the time. I’m so glad he’s here because his antics are taking my mind off worrying about Jimmy and Rufus in kennels in the heat.

I'm not really asleep. I'm just pretending I am while I have a good chew on this cushion.

Don't just point that camera at me. Get me out of here!

I'm going to sit here with my best friend Zack, and pretend I'm a big cat.

I keep telling Pepsi not to bully him because he might be smaller than her now, but one day he’ll be bigger than her. She doesn’t seem interested in listening!

It wasn’t that long ago that I started thinking – and even saying to the other cats – how much I missed having a kitten around now that Pepsi’s growing up. I even (jokingly!) suggested we should get another kitten.

The Law of Attraction delivers!
